The festival represents unity, pride, and the strength of our people, no matter where we come from or where we live today.

How We Use the Supports

Your gifts directly support South Sudanese artists and help us build a platform for their talent to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

We use gifts to bring South Sudanese artists to Loor Junubin, where they perform live, connect with the community, and showcase their music, culture, and creativity with a wider audience. These performances create opportunities for artists to grow their audience and gain wider recognition.

Gifts also help us promote the artists through media coverage, event planning, marketing, interviews, and online campaigns. Our goal is not just to host performances, but to help South Sudanese artists build lasting recognition and reach new audiences locally and internationally.

Part of the contribution also goes toward supporting our community cultural groups, including helping us buy gifts and support items for the dance groups participating in the Loor Junubin Festival. These groups play an important role in preserving and celebrating our culture, and we want to recognize and appreciate their contribution to the event.
